The first matches of Group B have been played at the Game Show studios in Vilnius, here are some of the photos we have taken thus far.
The first match pitted Cloud9 against G2. The North American team were able to take de_cache, their pick, 19-17 after a single overtime. The French and Belgian side were able to bring it back, though, with a strong showing by Richard "shox" Papillon, on de_train (13-16) and the decider, de_cobblestone (6-16).
The second match was a one-sided affair, as the Danes of Astralis steamrolled the stand-in clad method, who are playing with Estonians Hendrik "cheti" Vallimägi and Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar this tournament due to visa issues with some of their players, 2-0 on de_mirage (16-2) and de_overpass (16-4).
Being played now is the elimination match, pitting C9 and method, which will be followed by the winner and the decider matches later this evening.
