GPlay have defeated aimface 2-1 (13-16 de_mirage, 16-11 de_dust2, 16-4 de_cache) to win ESL's SouthEast Europe Championship for €650.
The tournament started out with sixteen regional teams battling in the group stage, which was played in a double-elimination best-of-three format with top two teams qualifying for playoffs.
aimface, GPlay, Space Soldiers and neXtPlease! came out on top of their respective groups, while BLACKBELT, ZajebaNi, WiLD and volgare had to settle for second seeds.
GPlay take a victory in the South-East Europe region
In the end it was aimface, who passed through volgare and Space Soldiers, qualifying for the grand final. They were joined by GPlay who got the better of WiLD and BLACKBELT on their way.
The grand final saw aimface taking the lead 1-0 after a close de_mirage, but GPlay took the main prize of €650 in the end, thanks to a solid Terrorist play on de_dust2 and de_cache.
